Maradona was murdered and treated like an animal… it’s recorded ‘the fat man is dying’

While statements continue in the trial for the death of Diego Armando Maradona, lawyer Fernando Burlando denounced on television that “Diego (Maradona) was treated like an animal. What was seen in court proves it,” he said.

I am convinced, and this is very legal, that without a doubt he was murdered

Fernando Burlando

The lawyer for Dalma and Giannina, Diego Armando Maradona’s daughters, explained on the television program ‘La noche de Mirtha’ that the position of the legal team is to prove Maradona’s murder on November 25, 2020: “We have already overcome the stage of negligence. Now we are trying to prove it judicially.”

Did they let Maradona die or did they kill him?

According to Fernando Burlando, the death of the legendary footballer was an organized plan and was not due to medical negligence: “I am convinced, and this is very legal, that without a doubt he was murdered.”

They could have done something. There are communications where you hear: ‘El Gordo is leaving, El Gordo is dying’

“The eight people who were in charge of Diego’s psychophysical health are implicated for possible simple intentional homicide. When someone is faced with the worst thing that can happen, in this case death, and continues with their actions as if nothing happened, it is murder,” he said when asked by Mirtha Legrand whether Maradona was “left to die or was killed”.

The lawyer claims that “it is proven” that “they could have done something. There are communications where you hear: ‘El Gordo is leaving, El Gordo is dying’.”

“Maradona’s absence in this plane generates benefit for third parties who are not the heirs”

Burlando stressed that “Diego’s absence in this plane generates benefit for third parties who are not the heirs. They are people who, through some contract curiously signed, had benefits after the death and even continue to live from him,” pointing to the sisters of the former player, who own the Maradona brand, and the lawyer Matias Morla as the most benefited by his death.

“What a barbarity. The most famous man in the world, dignified, loved… What a barbarity!” Mirtha Legrand reflected perplexed.

Who could have benefited from Maradona’s death?

Fernando Burlando stated on television that Maradona’s entourage deceived the family: “The only thing that Dalma and Giannina wanted, as I am sure Jana, Junior and Dieguito Fernando also wanted, was, first, that their father was well; second, to have their father close. They put up all kinds of fences… How different everything would have been if a nefarious, dark environment had not put obstacles in the way of the real family, and instead of dismantling it, it had united it.”

The lawyer shared that “When Diego was discharged from the Olivos clinic, the doctors themselves recommended that he go to a rehabilitation institute with the logical care for a person with many health problems, because Diego had kidney problems, dual cirrhosis, heart problems, he was hypertensive, he had addiction problems to alcohol and psychotropic drugs. With such a condition, you cannot leave him without control”.

Maradona’s 12-hour agony: “He had a heart that weighed more than twice the normal size”

The EFE agency reported that the trial seeking to determine the responsibility of seven of the eight medical professionals who were in charge of Maradona’s home hospitalization before his death is progressing with shocking revelations.

Chief Commissioner Mauricio Cassinelli, the autopsy expert, told the court last Thursday that, at the time of his death, the popular idol had “a heart that weighed more than twice the normal size”, had “generalized edema, from head to toe”, and signs of a long agony, which could have lasted up to 12 hours.

Cassinelli, who was then director of forensic medicine at the Scientific Police, said that Maradona had an accumulation of “four and a half liters of water in the body”, three of which were in the abdomen.

In addition, he said that the water he found in the body “is not formed in a day, in two or in four”, but “is something that is progressing”.

Although he clarified that he could not specify the exact time, he spoke of “a minimum of 10 days”.

The autopsy concluded that Maradona died on November 25, 2020 as a result of “acute pulmonary edema secondary to exacerbated chronic heart failure“.

The defendants in this trial are neurosurgeon Leopoldo Luque, psychiatrist Agustina Cosachov, psychoanalyst Carlos Diaz, doctor and coordinator of the Swiss Medical company Nancy Forlini, doctor Pedro Di Spagna, nursing coordinator Mariano Perroni and nurse Ricardo Almiron
