Pacquiao is in the midst of big strides in the boxing business world and reported that his promotional company, Manny Pacquiao Promotions, has launched operations in the United States.

Manny Pacquiao and his team plan to host a special event in his native Philippines, titled ‘Thrilla in Manila 2‘, which is scheduled for October 29, 2025, and will commemorate the 50th anniversary of Muhammad Ali‘s epic and unforgettable title defense against the legendary Joe Frazier
Fans were thrilled after seeing a video clip in which Manny Pacquiao and others talk about the event, which will feature Muhammad Ali‘s grandson Nico Ali Walsh.
One fan could hardly contain his excitement: “This event is going to be LIT!!!” With names such as WBC mini-flyweight champion Melvin Jerusalem, ranked contender Carl Martin and Nico Ali Walsh on the card, expectations are sky high.
Another fan connected the dots and highlighted the historical relevance of the event: “For us, it’s history waiting for the big fight. Good luck to our kababayan boxers, and God bless our history of Thrilla in Manila.”
A third fan expressed long-awaited excitement: “Here we go! This is what I’ve been waiting for; it’s finally happening. This will make history; many Filipinos will crawl.”

According to reports, the first U.S. event for Manny Pacquiao Promotions will feature a WBO title fight between ranked contenders Elijah Pierce and Lorenzo Pierce. Adding interest, the card will also mark the professional debut of his son, Emmanuel ‘Jimuel’ Pacquiao Jr.
