The NBA All-Star Saturday Night 2025 in San Francisco was a night to remember, with thrilling competitions and standout performances. Here’s a comprehensive recap of the Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest.

Skills Challenge

The Cleveland Cavaliers duo of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley claimed victory in the Skills Challenge. The pair showcased their agility, speed, and accuracy as they navigated the obstacle course with a combined time of 1:00 minute in the final round. Their impressive performance earned them a win over the hometown favorites, Draymond Green and Moses Moody of the Golden State Warriors.

Three-Point Contest

Tyler Herro of the Miami Heat emerged as the champion of the Three-Point Contest. Herro dazzled the crowd with his sharpshooting skills, scoring 24 points in the final round. He edged out fierce competitors, including Buddy Hield of the Indiana Pacers, who finished with 23 points, and Darius Garland of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who scored 19 points.

Slam Dunk Contest

In a thrilling display of athleticism and creativity, Mac McClung of the Philadelphia 76ers successfully defended his title in the Slam Dunk Contest. McClung’s gravity-defying dunks captivated the audience and earned him his third consecutive Dunk Contest title. He triumphed over rookies Stephon Castle and Matas Buzelis, as well as second-year player Andre Jackson Jr.

The best moments of the night

There is no question that Tyrese Haliburton’s game-winning half-court shot in the Skills Challenge was a standout moment, showcasing his clutch performance under pressure.

Of course that Tyler Herro’s clutch shooting in the Three-Point Contest, especially his final shot to secure the title, was met with loud cheers from the crowd. But the moment of the night was Mac McClung’s spectacular dunks, including a 360-degree windmill and a between-the-legs reverse jam, left the judges and fans in awe.

The events were met with enthusiastic reactions from fans, both in attendance and watching from home. Social media buzzed with excitement as fans shared their favorite moments and praised the incredible talents on display.

As the All-Star weekend continues, basketball enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the All-Star Game and other festivities. The standout performances from Skills Challenge, Three-Point Contest, and Slam Dunk Contest have set the stage for an unforgettable weekend of basketball.
