The personal life of Luka Doncic has become a major topic of conversation across the basketball world this week after reports surfaced that his longtime partner, Anamaria Goltes, filed a legal petition involving their children. According to a report from TMZ Sports, Goltes filed paperwork seeking child support related to the couple’s two young children.

The petition states Anamaria moved back to Slovenia in May of last year. Their kids have remained with her ever since, including their youngest, who was born in December 2025.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Doncic had not publicly commented on the filing. However, he confirmed to Dave McMenamin that they had separated.
“Everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness and I will always fight to be with them,” Doncic said.

“I answered this question like a million times. We met when we were 12 years old at the seaside in Croatia,” she said.
“Fun fact: We still have the same group of friends we had at that time. You keep the real ones, am I right?”
The couple announced their engagement in July 2023, and later that year they welcomed their first child together. Their family grew again in December 2025 when their second child was born.
Despite the public interest in their relationship, Doncic has historically kept details about his personal life relatively private, focusing most of his public attention on basketball.
Still, the lack of an immediate response to the recent legal filing has fueled speculation among fans online.
