In Game 2 of the first round playoff series, the Los Angeles Lakers secured a 94-85 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves, evening the series at 1-1. Luka Doncic led the team with 31 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 assists, while LeBron James contributed 21 points and 11 rebounds. Austin Reaves added 16 points to the win.

As the final buzzer sounded, a brief moment caught fans’ attention: Doncic extended his hand to Reaves for a congratulatory gesture, but Reaves, engaged in celebration with LeBron James, didn’t notice. Doncic, unfazed, made a light-hearted expression and moved on.

The Lakers established a strong lead early in the game, outscoring the Timberwolves 34-15 in the first quarter. Despite a scoring drought in the fourth quarter, key plays from Reaves and James helped secure the win.

The Timberwolves struggled offensively, shooting 38% from the field and making only five three-pointers. Julius Randle and Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 27 and 25 points, respectively.

With the series tied, Game 3 is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 PM PT in Minneapolis. The Lakers aim to maintain their momentum as they continue their playoff run.
