The WNBA has a new rising star, and she shines both on and off the court.
Selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks, Rickea Jackson has shown charisma and talent. Last season, she averaged 13.4 points and 3.9 rebounds and was nominated to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.
However, she also shines on her official Instagram account, where her followers can’t stop praising her, and her latest post stole the spotlight.
Wearing an elegant pink top and a white jacket and skirt together, Rickea showed her post with a more serious and elegant profile: “at workkk” she wrote.
The comments flattering her look and beauty were not long in coming: from emojis to phrases like “Natural Beauty” or “the prettiest” and she was even compared to “life-size Barbie“.
New season with the Los Angeles Sparks
The team finished the 2024 season in last place in the league with only eight wins.
This year, Sparks opens its preseason next May 7 against Golden State Valkyries and on the 17th against the same team.
This time, with a new opportunity to improve against Sparks, the 23-year-old forward remains focused on her growth and improvement to climb the table and achieve a better place in the league.
