The Los Angeles Dodgers are one of Major League Baseball’s most iconic franchises, with a history that stands out among the league’s greats. Despite some inaccuracies in the numbers often cited, the Dodgers remain a powerhouse, boasting multiple World Series championships and a legacy of dominance. In the 2025 season, the team has reached yet another remarkable milestone, further cementing its place in baseball’s elite club.

The Dodgers have battled relentlessly in MLB, proving once again why they are the reigning champions. With one of the strongest rosters in the league, they continue to showcase consistency and power. Currently, Los Angeles sits at the top of the National League West with an impressive 88-68 record, reaffirming their dominance and championship pedigree.

However, now the former World Series champions have joined an elite group of just nine teams by reaching a milestone that only a handful have ever achieved in a single season. This accomplishment further cements their place among the most consistent franchises.

Los Angeles Dodgers achieve historic milestone in 2025 MLB season

The Los Angeles Dodgers boast a loyal and passionate fan base, consistently supporting the team and turning Dodger Stadium into a true fortress. Their strong home-field advantage is evident this season, where they have posted an impressive 52-29 record at home, making it one of the most difficult stadiums to visit.

For that reason, the Dodgers have reached a remarkable milestone that only a few teams achieve in a single season. The historic “Trolley Dodgers” drew over 4 million fans this year, setting a record that underscores the unwavering support of their passionate fan base.

This is a remarkable achievement, especially considering Dodger Stadium’s 56,000-seat capacity. Across 81 home games, the team averaged 49,537 fans per contest, drawing a total of 4,012,470 spectators throughout the season.

It’s also worth noting that over 46,601 fans attended the Dodgers’ final home game last Sunday, despite a tough loss to the San Francisco Giants. Even in disappointment, the crowd’s unwavering support and energy continued to rally the team, highlighting the dedication of Los Angeles’ loyal fan base.

Dodger Stadium: a fortress for the team’s passionate fans

The energy at Dodger Stadium is unmatched, making it one of the best places to witness the passion and love for the sport. Even the team’s manager has expressed his gratitude and amazement at the unwavering support from fans who fill the iconic ballpark.

“Every day these fans show up, and every day they deliver,” Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said, highlighting the incredible support from the team’s loyal followers. “You can feel their energy, and our guys feed off it. I think we have the best fans in sports.” Roberts emphasized that the atmosphere at Dodger Stadium provides a true advantage.
