Logan Paul accompanies Jake Paul to the hospital and reveals the only thing Anthony Joshua could not break

As expected, the fight between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul was lopsided. The fists, experience, and punching power of a fully formed boxer against a streamer who is in boxing more for content and personal taste than for professionalism were evident on Friday, December 19, in Miami.

Jake Paul, who often talks about destroying his rivals, was exposed by someone who entered the world of fists at a young age and turned it into his way of life.

Inside the ring, the scene bordered on caricature. Paul tried to avoid being hit, running around the squared circle, dodging punches and clinching his opponent again and again. Meanwhile, Joshua looked frustrated, unable to find rhythm against a supposed boxer who did nothing but run for six rounds.

The gap was obvious. Weight, size, knowledge, experience, power. The bout served only to recall Homer Simpson’s infamous fight against Mike Tyson, in which he survives upright by sheer luck. There was nothing more to offer.

Then came what everyone anticipated. In the sixth round, Joshua knocked him down and sent him to the canvas, something that should have happened from the opening round. The boxing equivalent of chloroform took too long to appear.

Jake Paul’s rag-doll performance during the minutes he remained in the ring felt endless. A crushing left sent him to the corner, where he was trapped, followed by a jab that weakened him further, and finally a right hand that sent him to the land of the just, prompting the referee to stop the fight. A devastating knockout.

A clean shot to the jaw, and that was it. The fight was over. Anthony Joshua put an end to this attempted spectacle, one that generated expectations among millions of boxing fans watching on Netflix, yet delivered no excitement.

Jake Paul is taken to the hospital for evaluation after the bout against Anthony Joshua

After the fight, Jake Paul went to the hospital to receive medical attention following the heavy blows he absorbed from his opponent, the English boxer Anthony Joshua. He reportedly drove himself.

During the fight, he was seen spitting blood. Later, Paul himself provided an update on his health status: a double jaw fracture. The power of the British fighter’s punches proved too much for an amateur.

He later shared a post showing him lying in a hospital bed next to his brother, Logan, who stayed by his side to support him during this difficult moment. The caption read:

Proud brother of an absolute warrior, broke his jaw but can’t break his spirit @jakepaul

That was how the night ended for the content-creating streamer who wants to challenge boxing’s elite without becoming a quality sparring partner at this level.
