The two finals of the International and United States Championships have taken place and the winners will be the ones who will play in the Little League World Series Grand Final. On the international stage, it was Chinese Taipei who earned their place in the tournament’s final game by defeating Aruba 1-0. Meanwhile, in the United States tournament, it was the state of Nevada that lifted the trophy by defeating Connecticut 8-2.
Both games were played on Saturday, where the Williamsport ballpark looked attractive in the stands on a very pleasant afternoon for baseball. In the International Final, the winning run came in the third inning when a bad throw to first base allowed the man on third base to reach home to put the score at 1-0 and final at the end of the six regulation innings. Meanwhile, the U.S. Championship saw a representative from Nevada with an effective performance where from start to finish they dominated Connecticut.
