The final of the Leagues Cup had it all: football, goals and above all, a heated fight that partly taints the celebrations of the great champion of the competition. Seattle Sounders thrashed Inter Miami by three goals to nil, however, what happened at the end of the match showed how little some players who have a long history in elite football know how to lose.

Several Inter Miami players were involved in conflicts and fights with Seattle Sounders players and staff, something that went viral on social media and showed that sometimes experience is not enough to know how to behave.

Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets showed their worst side

Both Suarez and Busquets were the main protagonists of the post-match fights. The Spaniard was seen initiating the conflict after losing by a landslide, while the most viral image was that of the Uruguayan, who has several controversies of this type in his career.

Luis Suarez fought with a member of the Seattle Sounders staff and ended up spitting at him, something that was repudiated on social networks and shows the worst image of the player.

Despite the conflict and fighting, one who always shows his face when he loses and when he wins is Lionel Messi. The Argentine stayed to watch the rival’s celebration and earned the respect of everyone.

Lionel Messi’s great gesture

On social media, not only the bad goes viral, and although Suarez’s video is the most shared, you could also see the scene of Messi being a good loser and a respectable rival.

In the images, Messi can be seen standing and quite calm watching the Seattle Sounders’ celebration. The Argentine was the only Inter Miami player who stayed to watch all the celebrations of the rival team and once again showed his greatness in defeat.
