In a match in which Lionel Messi was once again the center of attention, as he has always been since he arrived at Inter Miami, the Argentine could not prevent his team’s defeat in the CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Lionel Messi goes from frustration to a poignant moment

After the 1-0 loss, Messi could be seen leaving the field at the end of the game with a “not very friendly” face, angry at all the internet users who saw the video.

It’s no secret that the Argentine is totally competitive, and that hasn’t changed despite coming to a very different kind of soccer to what he was used to in Europe. He likes to win, no matter what.

But the time came when he had to change the chip, to act in a more restrained way, and so it was. Messi was also seen signing autographs for some children, a moment they may never forget in their lives.

It is interesting to mention that his bodyguard was present to take care of him at all times, just after it was revealed that MLS was not going to allow him access to the field, something that surprised more than one.

Messimania arrived in Los Angeles

Among the thousands of fans who wore the jersey with the number “10” during the game in Los Angeles, Golden State Warriors players like Jimmy Butler and Stephen Curry were also present.

Another who did not miss the action of Inter Miami against LAFC was the coach of the Argentine National Team, Lionel Scaloni, who was surely very attentive to the physical condition of the Argentine who was recently out of the courts.

It was a soccer party that ended up favoring LAFC as they await the second leg in Miami, where Messi, Suarez and company will try to turn things around to stay alive in what is the most important tournament in the CONCACAF zone.
