Lexie Hull recently participated in a team-led initiative to support expanded breast cancer screening services by donating $10,000 to the St. Vincent Foundation, a non-profit organization in Carmel, Indiana.

For Hull’s mom, Jaime Hull, this act was beyond the basketball court. She was moved watching her daughter supporting the cause of something that once saved her owngrandmother, Jamie’s mother.

This hits home. My mom, Lexie’s Nana, had breast cancer detected by a routine mammogram. No lumps or signs it existed. Get your mammograms, ladies-it could save your life!

Beneficial use of fame and influence

This kind of initiatives certainly goes beyond the court. Athletes are doing great by lending their voices and their visibility, as they could reach a bigger audience. Aware of this impact, Hull shared how crucial it is to detect and prevent anything.

Along with assistnat coach Briann January, she presented the donation while engaging with the foundation’s staff, making Fever’s role in the local community more present.

Breast cancer affects 1 out of 8 women in America, according to the American Cancer Society. This is one of the reasons why Jaime Hull felt that proud watching her girl standing up for a really true cause for her, creating a bittersweet mix of smile and tears. At the end of the day, it served as a strong reminder of the life-saving importance of preventive health care.

Her performances are also to be proud of

As of August 2025, Lexie Hull keeps representing a lot to the Indiana Fever’s wins and performances. In 35 games this season, her record is an average of:

  • 6.6 points per game
  • 4.3 rebounds per game
  • 1.7 assists per game
  • 1.1 steals per game

Apart from these incredible stats, she also stands out for her three-point shooting, as she maintains a 36.4% shooting percentage beyond the arc.

Her performances have helped Fever to obtain many great wins this season, like lifting the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup, against Minnesota Lynx (74-59). Hull’s talent, skills and leadership made her the important piece of the team she currently is.

Fever dream big

Lexie Hull’s current journey with the Indiana Fever looks really promising. Even with a recent step back after two consecutive losses, Hull still is a main part in the team’s future. The demotion must be seen as chance for everyone to get better and adapt the team’s new needs.

Also, Hull’s role in the 2025 WNBA STARRY 3-Point Contest represents her recognition in the league. Her chace to fill in the team by replacing her teammate Caitlin Clark, shows she is one of the top shooters.

As we said, off the court, Hull’s work with the community also proves she not only is a great leader for the team, she also wants to be leading the support of people’s hard battles.

As the Fever keep looking to develop in the coming years, Lexie Hull’s combination of talents will always be useful to help the team evolve and adapt, while still being successful.
