Caitlin Clark‘s recent interview with NFL legend Eli Manning has raised eyebrows across multiple sports, but none more so than her close friend and Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull.
Manning posted a short clip of the show where Clark was taking a putt and if she missed, she would have to answer a tough question from Manning. She did miss, meaning she had to reveal which of her Fever teammates is the least likely to pick up the check after a meal.
Perhaps looking to play it safe, Clark chose Hull, arguably her closest friend in the Fever dressing room.
Hull obviously saw the video and took personal offence to being chosen, meaning Clark shouldn’t expect an invite to dinner anytime soon.
“Wowwwwwwwww,” Hull repsonded in disbelief. “No free meals/snacks/drinks/anything from me from here on out [Caitlin Clark].”
Clark doubled down though, responding herself: “@lexiehulll didn’t expect any different!”
Clark makes a young fan’s day
Whilst teammates may be one thing, Clark has been making sure not to upset everyone around her recently.
While attending the NCAA Women’s Big Ten Tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis to support her alma mater, Clark took a moment to interact with the Hawkeyes’ cheer squad.
But before heading into the arena tunnel, she paused to hand a friendship bracelet to a young girl standing courtside.
The simple exchange was captured on video and quickly made its way across social media. The young fan’s reaction said it all-her face lighting up as she realized she had just received a personal gift from one of the biggest stars in the sport.
Her family and those nearby shared in her excitement, a testament to the significance of these seemingly small gestures.
“Sometimes you dont need to talk. Let your actions speak for you and your legacy,” a fan wrote on X.
Another added: “She gets it and it’s a moment the young lady will never forget.”
