A new edition of the FIFA World Cup is just 70 days away, and every team is gearing up for what promises to be a historic event-but they’re not the only ones. The LEGO brand has decided to take the internet by storm with an ad that brings together Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappé, and Vinícius Jr. to announce its new collection inspired by soccer’s biggest tournament.

The four stars not only have their own figures, but they also starred in a launch video that has the world talking by bringing these four sports stars together.

Iconic LEGO Collection featuring Messi, CR7, Mbappé, and Vini

Following previous releases such as the World Cup trophy with which the Albiceleste captain posed some time ago or a 1,498-piece soccer ball, LEGO aims to bring fans closer to the action and has unveiled a collection that celebrates the players’ careers and personalities through minifigures and detailed builds of each one.

On its official Instagram account, LEGO shared a video promoting this launch, which brings together the stars of Portugal, Argentina, France, and Brazil at the same table, playing with the pieces and trying to “win the World Cup.”

“Everyone wants a piece #HonestlyItsNotAI” they wrote alongside the video. This sparked a reaction from millions of fans, who commented, “unexpected collab,” “best ads of this decade,” “This is so legendary!,” and “Yeah. Internet? Broken.”

The “Football Highlights” sets capture the essence of each player on letter-shaped bases, featuring their national team colors, jersey numbers, and collectible nameplates.

“It’s not every day you become a LEGO set!” said Cristiano, who has a piece featuring the letters “CR7,” his minifigure, his iconic “SIUU” celebration, and other hidden details that trace his career.

Vini‘s set represents Brazil at its finest: not only does it feature his minifigure and the letters “Vini Jr. 7,” but it’s built around a V-shaped brick base, and the five stars-one for each title won-are among the most iconic details.

“This LEGO set tells part of my story, but above all, it captures the energy and creativity that make this sport so special,” reflected Mbappé, whose set features an elegant “M”-shaped brick base, the colors of France, and a striking white and gold number 10 (Real Madrid), along with his last name.

Messi was depicted with an “M”-shaped base in sky blue and white, featuring his #10 and references to his time at Newell’s, Barça, PSG, and Inter Miami, among other nods to his career.

Additionally, Cristiano and Lionel each have the “Football Legend” set, which offers multiple building options. For the 41-year-old Portuguese star, the set replicates Ronaldo’s iconic “Siuuu” pose or his bicycle kick, while Leo’s set features his signature victory poses. If both are present at this year’s tournament, they will become the only two players in history to have played in six World Cups.

The captain of the Argentine national team also has the “Celebration” set, consisting of 1,427 pieces, which can be displayed as a 3D wall art piece. The set depicts his No. 10 jersey and incorporates numerous hidden details that pay tribute to his career.

The collection is now available for pre-order online on the official LEGO website.
