LeBron James’ sweet gesture softens bitter taste of loss to Minnesota Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers lost an important victory over Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs, closing the game 116-113.

This puts the Lakers on the ropes, as the loss leaves them trailing 3-1 in the series and with no margin for error if they want to stay alive in this competition.

However, a sweeter reason caught the attention of the fans and delighted a person who has admired him for a decade: his youngest daughter, Zhuri Nova James.

LBJ took the court wearing a special edition Nike LeBron 22 “Zhuri” sneaker in tribute to his daughter. The shoe combines shades of orange and lavender and is the second time King James has paid tribute to his children through his sneakers.

For his 50,000th game, played on March 4 against the New Orleans Pelicans, LeBron debuted “Bryce’s World” in honor of his 17-year-old son.

Los Angeles Lakers need a win

“We got into some good actions, got good looks. Every game is different – what was available today may not be there on Wednesday.” These were LeBron’s words after the loss to Minnesota Timberwolves.

The truth is that despite the 12-point lead the Lakers had at the end of the third quarter, they could not hold it. Luka Doncic‘s 38 points and LeBron James’ 27 points were not enough to catch up with Anthony Edwards, who shined and finished with 43 points.

Minnesota took advantage of every opportunity they had and, although the 116-113 difference was minimal, they managed to put Lebron James and his team in trouble and they will need to win or win the next game if they do not want to be eliminated.
