LeBron James postgame troll leaves Mavericks fans fuming after Lakers big win

LeBron James knows how to win, but he also knows how to enjoy the moment. A day after the Los Angeles Lakers took down the Dallas Mavericks107-99, James shared a video that had NBA fans talking, especially those in Dallas. The clip, posted to his social media, shows LeBron dancing, grinning, and soaking in the moment during a training session. But the real kicker? The video wasn’t just about his mood, it was a well-placed message.

Throughout the video, James not only shows off his moves on the court but also includes clips of himself dominating the Mavericks, throwing down dunks, knocking down shots, and making big plays. The timing wasn’t lost on fans, with many interpreting it as a subtle dig at Dallas, a team that has struggled against L.A. this season.

Was it just a celebration, or a direct shot at the Mavs?

Some Lakers fans celebrated the video as classic LeBron, a legend simply having fun after another big performance. Others, especially Mavericks supporters, saw it differently. The way the video was edited, featuring highlights from the game against Dallas, felt intentional. And given that it was posted just a day after the victory, it’s hard to believe it was a coincidence.

Adding another layer to the situation, Luka Doncic played his first game against the Mavericks as a Laker, and he put on a show with a triple-double. Some fans speculated that LeBron’s post wasn’t just about celebrating the win, it was also a way to rub salt in the wound, reminding Dallas that they let their superstar go.

Love it or hate it, LeBron has always controlled the narrative in his own way, and this was just another example. Whether it was a playful troll or an innocent celebration, the video got exactly what it was meant to attention. And in today’s NBA, that’s just as important as winning on the court.
