While many agreed that his taste was impeccable, some fans were quick to question the authenticity behind those choices. On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), comments poured in with skepticism. One fan joked, “I promise u he didn’t watch any of these,” while another chimed in, “He’s only seen the trailers.” Others even dared LeBron to quote a single line from any of the movies, mocking past interviews where he struggled to do so.
This isn’t the first time LeBron’s cinematic claims have come under fire. Back in 2016, during the NBA Finals, he told ESPN’s Chris Broussard that he watched The Godfather Part II six times during the playoffs.
