LeBron James goes wild at a Bad Bunny concert as he enjoys life away from the Lakers

LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are going through a hard time in their relationship, as the NBA superstar has made it clear to the Purple and Gold – and the rest of the league – that he wants to compete for a championship now.

Basketball analysts and fans believe that the Los Angeles team is beggining to move on from the Akron native and started to focus on Luka Doncic, the 26-years-old baller that’s still looking to win his first NBA championship in his bright career.

LeBron could be moving back to the team that drafted No. 1 overall in 2003, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the franchise that got deep roots with the Ohio native. Both won their only Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2016, beating the legendary Golden State Warriors lead by Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.

LeBron James goes wild at a Bad Bunny concert

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny kicked off the first night of his residency at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, a much awaited event to celebrate the roots and passion of one of the biggest artists in the music industry and the pop culture.

None other than Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was in attendance, letting loose and showing off his best reggaeton moves as he grooved all night along catchy songs like “Titi me preguntó“, “La Romana“, “Me porto bonito“, “No me conoce“, “Baile inolvidable“, among many others.

James sent a cryptic message on social media Friday ahead of the concert, writing in Spanish: Benito! I’m at the Los Angeles airport right now, coming to see you! I heard about what you have planned for tomorrow night… LFG!” During the concert, Bad Bunny joined LeBron James and his crew for a song as the duo danced the night away in Puerto Rico.

Lakers Stay Quiet as the Future Starts to Shift

According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Ramona Shelburne, the Lakers are already looking past LeBron James, with their focus pivoting toward Luka Doncic as the new face of the franchise. Windhorst didn’t mince words, saying the team made its stance clear by not offering James any contract extension.

For the first time since he arrived in 2018, there’s a definitive expiration date looming. And this time, it wasn’t mutual. Agent Rich Paul reportedly had to inform the Lakers that LeBron would be opting in-because the team hadn’t engaged in any real conversation about the future. That alone raised eyebrows.

Meanwhile, the Lakers are quietly stacking their next core: Doncic, Deandre Ayton, and Austin Reaves. But as the team reshapes, James has kept his distance-literally. He’s been working out in Cleveland, not Los Angeles, sparking rumours about his future in California.
