Las Vegas Raiders are looking to improve their passing game and Pete Carroll already has the right player

Raiders head coach Pete Carroll is looking for his team to be an offensive threat for the 2025 NFL season, and to that end, he already has a player he’ll be able to squeeze every bit of talent he possesses in the passing game. Las Vegas is looking to have a strong year that could at least make the playoffs.

The Nevada franchise had a mediocre 2024 season in the league, recording only four wins. Therefore, well before the postseason, it was already known that the team, led by quarterback Gardner Minshew, would have no chance of advancing to the next round of the competition.

Michael Mayer Will Be Key to the Las Vegas Raiders’ Passing Game

Las Vegas’ offense, on paper, looks very promising for next season. But Carroll knows there’s still work to be done with the offense and chemistry. The good news for the Raiders is that they have the next training camp to achieve that, where the coach will be able to test his new ace in the hole.

The play would be named Michael Mayer, someone no one is talking about this preseason; a tight end who will have a pivotal role. Mayer wants to prove he can be a threat in both the running and passing game; there have been many rumors that he could be traded, but that could be far from the truth.

Brock Bowers is already a historic NFL player after a great season with the Raiders

Brock Bowers set a historic NFL record ahead of the league’s preparations for the start of the 2025 season. The Las Vegas Raiders tight end was named the best player at his position by coaches, scouts, and the media, something no one else achieved in their first season.

Bowers finished ahead of players such as George Kittle of the 49ers, Travis Kelce of the Chiefs, and Sam LaPorta of the Lions. The 22-year-old will enter his second year as one of the stars who, along with Mayer, could be key to sparking the resurgence of the silver and black franchise.
