Lamar Odom, a popular 45-year-old former NBA player, has been evicted after being accused of not paying the rent on his apartment.

The New York Post reports that Odom, who played for the Clippers, Mavericks, Heat and Lakers during his successful NBA career, was ordered to vacate his rental home in Los Angeles after the landlord sued him for allegedly failing to pay $45,000 in back rent.

Executive Recovery Group, Inc. claims that Odom failed to pay three months’ rent from January 1 to March 31.

“If you fail to comply with your obligations, the landlord declares the termination of the lease or rental agreement under which you occupy such property,” Odom was told.

Lamar Odom did not comply with the requirement to pay his entire rental debt ($45,000) within three days and was evicted.

The apartment, which cost around $500 a day, was rented at one time by the late rapper Mac Miller.
