Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian, who had a high-profile marriage (they married in 2009 a month after meeting) and a high-profile break-up (they separated after an infidelity by the former Lakers player and his drug addiction), were reunited at the premiere of the sixth season of the reality show ‘The Kardashians’.
“Honestly, I think timing is everything, and I think this is the perfect time to have this conversation, because it’s the end of my 39s and I’m ready to start my 40s as fresh and free as possible (…) Lamar was the love of my life,” said the Kardashian clan member.
The former NBA star and former Baskonia player, “I’m nervous, I haven’t seen you in a long time”, and the millionaire businesswoman shared their memories for the first time in nine years.

Khloe Kardashian confessed that she was not too nervous, even when Lamar still referred to her as his “wife”, given that she had already processed their breakup “like a death”.
“I don’t have much excitement for this reunion. I’ve dealt with so much trauma from this relationship over the years. He was the love of my life, whom I had to learn not to love. Having to go through all that was almost like a death,” she explained.

Kris Jenner’s daughter and member of the Kardashian clan shared that she and Lamar Odom had incredible moments in their seven years of marriage, but stressed that bad times were more than “horrible”.
Khloe Kardashian acknowledged that in her reunion with Lamar Odom, many “uncomfortable memories and feelings” of “a dark time” arose.
The couple, who once marketed their love on the reality show ‘Khloe & Lamar’, finalised their divorce in 2016.
“I love you for loving me and having my back, that is love, and I don’t think it will ever go anywhere,” said Odom, thanking Khloe Kardashian for all the help he received after falling into a coma in 2015 due to an overdosein a brothel.
About that dark time, Khloe Kardashian does not forget that “Lamar Odom repeated some of the same behaviors that I could not stand. I was surprised that he himself repeated those behaviors after coming out of the whole Las Vegas accident. I rented a house for Lamar next to mine. He was staying there with caregivers and rehabilitating. I went and found Lamar doing things he shouldn’t have been doing. I was very upset. I haven’t seen Lamar since that day.”
