The 2026 NFL season is six months away and the AFC North rivalries are alive and well. The Cincinnati Bengals locked down their weaponry with the massive money extensions of Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins and Lamar Jackson didn’t took long to mock their division rivals.
Chase agreed to a four-year deal worth $161 million, that includes $112 million guaranteed, while Higgins signed a four-year, $115 million contract.
Joe Burrow was tremendously happy with the extension and after the annoucemente he said: “For the next four years, you know what you’re going to get from us and we’re going to be right here. We’re paying the right guys. Guys who work really hard for what they have. Guys who aren’t going to get complacent or anything like that”.

While Burrow seemed happy, from the Ravens side the extensions didn’t strike fear. Jackson took on social media and posted a GIF of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James pretending to be afraid and later laughing, which seemed to be a shot on the Bengals.
After the huge money extensions, now the big question is: Can Joe Burrow handle all of the pressure?
