Kylie Kelce has shown her support for Taylor Swift after the singer was booed when shown on the big screen during Super Bowl LIX.
While Kelce didn’t come straight out and post a message about the boos, she did like a post uploaded by Sports Illustrated featuring quotes from Erin Andrews, who defended Travis Kelce’s girlfriend.
“I feel bad for the most famous, amazing woman in the world who f-ing gets booed at the Super Bowl. Get out of here,” said Andrews during the recent episode of her Calm Down With Erin and Charissa podcast with Charissa Thompson.
“She holds – I mean, she probably holds the record in every stadium – the attendance record in the [Caesars] Superdome as an individual, as one individual standing up on that stage rocking the world.”
Thompson added: “Taylor, we all know Erin and I’s affinity for her. She handles everything so well. And so does Travis. … He handles this so well. … They both handle [things] with so much grace.”
Swift swamped with boos
Swift was at the Super Bowl supporting her boyfriend Travis Kelce, though things didn’t go his way as the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22.
At one point Swift was shown on the big screen in the stadium, and she appeared confused as the boos came down.
“What’s going on?,” she was seen asking her friend Ice Spice.
Along with Kylie, Andrews and Thompson, other celebrities have stepped up to show their support for Swift.
“I love you @taylorswift13,” Serena Williams tweeted on Sunday. “Don’t listen to those booo!!”
Saquon Barkley, running back of the Philadelphia Eagles, also showed his support by questioning why Swift was getting as much hate as she was.
“She’s there supporting her significant other and she’s made the game bigger,” he said while on The Howard Stern Show.
“In football, we’re all about, how can we expand the game and make it more [international]? We’re traveling to Brazil and we’re traveling to Mexico, and apparently, we’re traveling to Australia soon, so we’re trying to expand the game. Her being a part of it’s only helping that, so I don’t get the slack that she’s getting.”
