Travis Kelce has long dominated NFL headlines for his athletic achievements, but his off-field life, particularly his close relationship with his nieces, continues to attract public attention. Does his connection mean he’s preparing for fatherhood?
Kylie Kelce is offering a deeper look at the Kansas City Chiefs star’s bond with her four daughters, Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett and Finley Anne, as the tight end potentially prepares to become a parent with Taylor Swift.
“They just know that when he comes, he’s gonna lock in,” Kylie said of Travis on her Not Gonna Lie show. “He’s gonna give them his undivided attention.
“They’re gonna be like, ‘Can you get on the floor?’ And he’s gonna be, like, already down there.”
Describing him as the “king of the funcles”, he attracted high praise from the mother-of-four for the amount of energy he brings to the family, something she says takes a lot of pressure off the parents.
“I get down on the floor, might fall asleep,” Kylie added. “It is really nice to have someone who is fresh and fun.
“I’m gonna have a warm cup of coffee for five minutes and maybe have a shower because that would be nice.”

Kylie and Jason welcomed their fourth child, Finley Anne, earlier this year. Travis first met the newest member of the family during an episode of New Heights, the podcast he co-hosts with his brother, and was instantly smitten.
“Hey little muffin! Look at you! Hanging out with mom? Tell Ky I said hello, I am glad everything went great,” Travis said as Finley appeared on camera in Kylie‘s arms. “You’re impressive Ky, you’re impressive.”
Kylie also shared how much her older daughters adore their uncle too, proving Kelce is an expert with the kids and that Swifties can expect Taylor to be in good hands if she decides to have her own children.
“My husband was on a call on the computer,” Kylie continued. “And they assumed he was on the podcast with Travis. They were like, ‘Can we say hi to Uncle Trav?’
“I was like, ‘I don’t think he’s on the phone to Uncle Trav.’ They were convinced.”
Given his highly publicized relationship with Taylor Swift, speculation continues to grow that the NFL star might soon be taking on more than just the role of the “fun uncle.”
But for now, though, Travis appears to be enjoying his time as a beloved uncle to four young girls – at least until the conclusion of his NFL career, which resumes once again on September 5 as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil from 20:00 ET/17:00 PT.
