Kroy Biermann’s 15-year-old son, Kroy “KJ” Biermann Jr., is facing fresh scrutiny after prosecutors disclosed a previously unreported juvenile matter involving an underage family member during a bond hearing in Georgia.
Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy told Fulton County Superior Court that investigators had previously found multiple videos on KJ’s phone connected to the matter. Because all of those involved are minors, the allegations remain especially sensitive and have not been proven in court.
“This would now mark the second time he has been charged with an offense of a sexual nature of a very serious kind which involves female victims,” McGillicuddy said.
The prosecutor also said KJ had been under court supervision since October 2025 in connection with the earlier case.
KJ Biermann’s lawyer disputes prosecutor’s description
KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, strongly rejected the way the earlier juvenile matter was presented in court.
“The characterizations made in court regarding the prior juvenile matter involving KJ Biermann grossly misrepresent both the facts and the ultimate resolution of that case,” Sheffield said.
“The matter arose from inappropriate, crude behavior involving two middle-schoolers. It did not result in an adjudication for statutory rape, sexual intercourse, or any comparable offense.”
Sheffield added: “Any suggestion otherwise is inaccurate and creates a materially misleading impression of how the juvenile matter was ultimately resolved.”
Separate felony case remains ongoing
KJ is separately facing seven felony charges stemming from an alleged April 2026 incident involving a female classmate at a Georgia fitness center.
He was indicted on September 3 on charges including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy and false imprisonment.
His defense has maintained his innocence, and Sheffield has said KJ is “expecting to enter not guilty pleas to all charges” at his arraignment scheduled for October 14.
Following Friday’s hearing, Judge Melynee Leftridge granted KJ a $200,000 bond under strict conditions. He must remain at his mother’s home, attend school virtually, avoid social media and cellphone use, and have no contact with the alleged victim or anyone aged 16 or younger.
The case remains unresolved, and the allegations against KJ have not been proven in court.
