Tom Brady is deeply involved with the Las Vegas Raiders as the franchise enters a new era under head coach Klint Kubiak for the 2026 NFL season. According to the first-year coach, the seven-time Super Bowl champion has become one of his top advisors in running the team.

Hurt My Feelings? He’s Always Welcome..

“We text almost every day. We get on the phone,” Kubiak said. “He’s extremely supportive, giving great advice, talking about his experience in New England, things that he did in Tampa Bay.”

“In all aspects of my job, I’m reaching out to him and asking for his advice, and he’s given it,” Kubiak added. “And I ask him to give me advice I don’t want to hear… it’s OK to hurt my feelings. I’d rather it be that way. I have all the confidence in the world we’re going to keep building that relationship.”

The new Raiders head coach made it clear that he’s not looking for sugarcoated answers from Tom Brady. On the contrary, he wants honest, unfiltered feedback from the legend as the team goes through a major rebuild following yet another disappointing season.

Brady’s influence could be especially important at the quarterback position. The Raiders are widely expected to select Heisman Trophy winnerFernando Mendoza with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft. However, Klint Kubiak hinted during the NFL Annual Meeting that he prefers to take a patient approach with the rookie’s development.

That plan gained even more traction after the team signed four-time Pro BowlerKirk Cousins, who landed a deal that guarantees him $20 million for the 2026 season.
