Khedira scares Real Madrid with his prediction for the tie against Bayern Munich

Sami Khedira, former Real Madrid player, expressed in Sport Bild his fears about what might happen in the Champions League quarter-final tie against Bayern Munich. “They are unstoppable. I have never seen anything like it in Europe at this level. Bayern are focused on getting big wins and never settle for a 1-0, 2-0 or 3-0,” he said.

The German pointed out one of Real Madrid’s possible weaknesses in their clash with the Bavarian side. “Mbappe and Vinicius are not entirely comfortable under high pressure, which could hurt the team’s solidity and affect team spirit,” he said.

“If they manage to play balls in behind the defence, it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to stop the quick runs. That’s where their greatest strength lies, with initial passes from Kimmich, Pavlovic or even Kane,” he said.

Real Madrid will face Bayern at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday, April 7, while they will play the return leg at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday, April 15, which will also be a disadvantage for the Spanish team.

“Olise is perfect for Real Madrid”

Khedira also spoke about Michael Olise, one of Bayern’s great stars. “He is perfect for Real Madrid. If Real Madrid do not seriously consider him, it would be very strange,” he said. “Real Madrid do not want to spend a lot of money on established older stars. They prefer to invest in developing players who have at least six or eight years of career ahead of them. At 24 years of age, Olise meets these requirements. He offers a complete solution and fits perfectly with the club’s vision,” he said.
