Kevin De Bruyne could be one of the most sought-after free agents this summer, as his future with Manchester City is uncertain. At this stage there are no talks to extend his contract with the ‘Sky Blues‘, which officially expires on June 30
The 33-year-old Belgian midfielder has lucrative proposals from Saudi Arabia at his disposal, but would reportedly opt for the United States if he decides to leave City.
Since last summer, San Diego FC has been specifically mentioned as one of the favorites to sign him on a free transfer. After several months of rumors of advanced negotiations with the player, the Southern California club has denied all this and it seems that this signing will only remain a fantasy in a video game career mode

Tyler Heaps, sporting director of San Diego FC, spoke to The Sun about the rumors that already placed KDB in the MLS expansion team and his response will break the heart of more than one.
“I don’t know where those rumors come from. I spoke to the agent. Obviously, he has a lot of players. Every time I see him, I ask him: ‘Are you the one who says all this? He’s a fantastic footballer and he loves to go through California,” Heaps said
Tyler also confirmed talks with him, if they have existed, but it seems that they will be left wanting to have him in the squad: “He goes on holiday here every year, but I don’t know where that rumour comes from. I’ve spoken to him, but I’ll tell you one thing: that salary doesn’t fit into our current budget in terms of his expectations,” were his words to the English media
A move that would have been much talked about throughout MLS, the expansion team in its debut season has shown interesting things and have not disappointed, we will see if in the summer things change with De Bruyne, their franchise players are Hirving ‘Chucky’ Lozano and Anders Dreyer, they have one more spot and could opt for some other option that does not charge the same as the Belgian.
