Chicago Sky managed to beat Connecticut Sun by 78-66 and their victory left much more than a joy for the team and its fans.

With this victory, the Sky put an end to the negative streak they had been dragging, accumulating three consecutive defeats. In addition, Angel Reese shined and got her first triple-double with the team and was named player of the game by Chicago.

As if this were not enough, the 23-year-old star contributed 11 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and assisted 11 times. But she was not the only one who stood out.

Hailey Van Lith, Kia Nurse and Ariel Atkins also had a great night and contributed to the team’s victory. The freshman and former TCU added her personal best with a total of 16 points, while Kia scored 11 points (three three-pointers) and Ariel accumulated 10 points and four assists.

Also reaching an important milestone in her professional career was Rachel Banham, who hit 300 three-pointers.

All these achievements were shared by the Chicago Sky on social networks, through their official accounts. But they were not the only ones.

The support and pride of one of her teammates

Kamilla Cardoso, who recorded 10 points and seven rebounds in 35 minutes, did not hesitate to show how proud she is of her team.

Through her Instagram stories, the 24-year-old center shared three posts highlighting the achievements of her teammates.

In the first post, Kamilla shared a post from @chicagosky where they highlight Angel Reese’s play and call her Player of the Match. In the second story, Cardoso uploaded a post from @espnw of Hailey’s achievement, and in the third, a new post from Chicago honoring Banham’s 300 three-pointers.

In none of her stories did she accompany the posts with text or emojis, Kamilla simply let her teammates’ success speak for itself and louder.

Now, Kamilla and her team must prepare to face the Washington Mystics on Tuesday, where they will have the opportunity to improve their 3-7 record, add another consecutive victory and achieve new feats worth sharing.
