Justin Tucker in trouble. The Baltimore Ravens kicker, who is admired by NFL fans, has been named in seven allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct at upscale spas and so far has a total of 16 different cases.
According to an investigation, the events occurred between 2012 and 2016 with 16 therapists in eight spas, the same years as his early years in the NFL that were published in the Baltimore Banner in late January and two weeks later more victims have come forward to denounce Tucker’s behavior.
During Super Bowl week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell addressed the allegations against Tucker: “Obviously these are serious matters, and he is taking it seriously just as we are.” Justin Tucker could be subject to disciplinary action under the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Justin Tucker has stated that these accusations are unequivocally false. “This whole topic is so distorted that they are no longer recognizable. Pure desperate sensationalism,” he said
Last week, Tucker’s attorneys filed an affidavit from the owner of the Baltimore Spa & Salon stating that she had never received any complaints about him or suspected him of misconduct. However, the therapists told the Baltimore Banner that they did not report his behavior to supervisors at the time because they feared losing their jobs.
After the January 30 publication, in which nine affected people were originally mentioned, there have been a greater number of accusations from other therapists on different days. As a result, there are currently 16 accusations against Justin Tucker for inappropriate sexual behavior.
In response, the Baltimore Ravens issued a statement: “We take any allegations of this nature seriously and will continue to monitor the situation.”
Three years ago, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh referenced the team’s zero-tolerance policy on domestic violence when asked about Deshaun Watson‘s six-game suspension following allegations of sexual misconduct with massage therapists.
Tucker, 35, has been selected to the Pro Bowl seven times and is the most accurate kicker in NFL history. He is the Ravens’ oldest player and the last remaining member of their Super Bowl winning team in 2012
