Saul “Canelo” Alvarez fell to Terence Crawford in last weekend’s fight in Las Vegas. The defeat of the Mexican has undoubtedly generated many reactions in the boxing world.

Julio Cesar Chavez, the legend of Mexican pugilism, was present at the Allegiant Stadium. At the end of the fight between the Mexican and the American, Chavez gave his impressions.

What did Julio Cesar Chavez say about Canelo Alvarez’s defeat at the hands of Terence Crawford?

In an interview with Canal 44, Julio Cesar was sincere and revealed that he already sees Canelo Alvarez tired after almost 20 years in the ring.

“It was a difficult fight, a complicated fight for Saul. I think I see Canelo a little tired, I think it’s already many years fighting, so much training, so many concentrations, the body gets tired.”

The boxing legend showed his support for the Mexican despite his result. It should be noted that Canelo lost by unanimous decision and Terence showed dominance in most of the fight.

“I think he has given us more satisfaction than sadness and we always support him,” he said.
