A fight already surrounded by controversy, featuring two boxers with chaotic and unprofessional histories inside the ring. Just before squaring off, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. actually ‘peed on’ Jake Paul while in the bathroom after a training session. A direct insult and a bold mockery of the YouTuber turned boxer.

A completely outrageous scene, where the Mexican fighter tries to aim at Jake Paul’s mouth while peeing in the bathroom. If his goal was to mock his opponent, he found a way that was as bizarre as it was provocative just to throw more fuel on the fire before their face off in the ring. Chavez Jr. couldn’t stop laughing and mocking the American.

For a moment, you might wonder how something like this even happens. And the only answer is: in the most unexpected way possible. But if there was ever a chance to offend your rival in every way imaginable, this was one of those rare moments where the mockery was as literal as it was graphic.

While Chavez Jr. was using the bathroom, he deliberately aimed at a sticker of Jake Paul’s face that had been stuck inside the toilet comically positioned with an open mouth. As soon as he saw it, he didn’t hesitate for a second to try and “hit the target” while taking care of business.

Jake Paul, for his part, hasn’t held back either. He’s taken several shots at Chavez Jr. and has even used the beef as an opportunity to mock Canelo Álvarez clearly hoping to one day share the ring with the Mexican champion.

Where and when to watch Jake Paul vs. Chavez Jr.

Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will face off on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The main card kicks off at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, with the highly anticipated main event Paul vs. Chávez Jr. scheduled for around 11 p.m. ET / 8 p.m. PT.

You can watch it live in the U.S. on DAZN Pay Per View, featuring a stacked fight card that includes Zurdo Ramírez vs. Dorticos and the long-awaited return of Holly Holm to the ring.

This is a pivotal moment for Jake Paul: a win could earn him a spot in the WBC/WBA rankings and bring him closer to a legitimate shot at a world title. Now, it’s time to prove whether he’s ready to stop being a celebrity in gloves and start being seen as a real boxer.
