Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. is on probation while legal proceedings are underway against him for alleged links to organized crime.

The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) accuses Junior of participating in organized crime activities and arms trafficking to the United States.

Julio Cesar Chavez accepts that his son was beaten on the orders of criminals

Chavez Jr. has always denied the accusations against him since he was detained in Los Angeles for his immigration status and deported to Mexico to a prison in Hermosillo, Sonora.

His father, Julio Cesar Chavez, who has always said that they know everyone in Sinaloa, good and bad people, but that they have never been part of the Sinaloa Cartel, reaffirms his innocence.

However, in an interview with Adela Micha, Chavez Sr. admitted that his son did beat a person on the orders of organized crime, but he did so to protect his life.

“If you don’t go, they’ll take you. What do you want? Do you want them to kill you? I’d rather be friends with them than have the bastards kill me

He was told, ‘If you beat him up, we’ll spare his life’. My son didn’t want to. He said, ‘I’m going to hit him once, just once, but then you’ll spare his life’. And he hit him with a little hook like that, slowly.

“Friend does not mean that you are dedicated to the same thing. Everything is handled in a different way. On the contrary, my son saved his life with that blow,” said the former boxer.

Who did JC Chavez Jr hit?

According to the story of the Cesar del Boxeo, JC Chavez Jr. punched a thief to prevent him from being killed by drug traffickers.

“They were thieves or I don’t know who they were, you know? They were having fun (the narcos)… And then they say that my son was a beater. Everyone knows them in Culiacan. He’s my friend, I’ve lived with them. Does that make me a drug trafficker?” asked the former boxer.
