“In ‘Jude – Under The Knife’, we take you on a fascinating journey into the operating theatre as Jude undergoes the long-awaited surgery on his left shoulder. Enjoy this exclusive behind-the-scenes access as Jude recalls how the injury occurred more than three years ago, when he was playing for BVB Dortmund, and the numerous shoulder dislocations he has suffered since then. Jude explains why surgery was repeatedly postponed until the summer of 2025, as well as the consequences the problem has had on other parts of his body,” the YouTube channel announces.“It’s what has caused me the most anxiety,” says Jude

In the video, Jude Bellingham can be seen with the anesthesia mask to put him to sleep before the operation, something that few footballers usually show

Bellingham is also shown under anaesthetic, surrounded by surgeons, with his shoulder completely immobilised.

The player acknowledged that the constant discomfort had affected him for some time: “Last year made me realize that I should never take a win for granted, and this year I want to win a lot more.”

Jude Bellengham: “The shoulder injury had a big impact on the rest of my body”

The English footballer also confessed how shoulder surgery was limiting him: “The shoulder injury had a big impact on the rest of my body”.

Bellingham opted to undergo surgery after the 2025 Club World Cup and ended up missing the first few months of the 2025/26 season.
