Josh Allen may soon have a big loss to the Buffalo Bills that would hurt him a great deal

With Josh Allen playing like an MVP and the Buffalo Bills offense firing on all cylinders last season, it’s no surprise that offensive coordinator Joe Brady found his name popping up in coaching conversations.

Brady, widely considered one of the brightest young minds in the game, opted to stay in Buffalo for a third term instead of jumping at a head coaching opportunity this offseason.

The Bills‘ offense averaged an impressive 30.9 points per game in 2024, and Allen thrived under Brady‘s system.

But instead of capitalizing on the momentum with a new job elsewhere, Brady made the calculated decision to stick with Allen and pursue a Super Bowl title. If the Bills can finally clear the Kansas City Chiefs hurdle in the playoffs, Brady‘s stock will go through the roof.

If Buffalo wins big, Brady will headline the next coaching cycle

Bleacher Report recently listed Joe Brady among six hot candidates who could land a head coaching role next season and perhaps even the top name to watch. The publication sees a direct path to the big chair if Buffalo can put it all together.

Despite not having a true No. 1 receiver last year, following the departures of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, Brady managed to keep the offense humming.

His “everybody eats” philosophy turned the Bills into a selfless and efficient scoring unit, spreading touches around to maximize production.

This offseason, the team added Joshua Palmer,Elijah Moore, and Laviska Shenault Jr. to fill the void left by Mack Hollins and Amari Cooper.

While none may be a bona fide WR1, the depth and versatility in the receiving corps give Brady the ingredients he needs to keep the offense near the top of the league.

That continuity is key. Allen, coming off arguably the best season of his career, has gained better control over his turnover tendencies, and that made a massive difference.

Dalton Kincaid, the promising young tight end, is expected to be fully healthy after a 2024 campaign plagued by injuries. Running back James Cook also returns, adding explosiveness out of the backfield.
