Josh Allen knows it: it’s Super Bowl or bust for the Buffalo Bills; the MVP is focused on bringing glory to his team

There’s no doubt that the Buffalo Bills are strong contenders in the AFC, and they are also the heavy favorites in their division. However, they might be the most pressured team heading into the upcoming season because anything less than reaching the Super Bowl will be a bitter disappointment for the team led by Josh Allen.

Josh Allen is coming off an MVP season and just signed a new 6-year, $330 million contract-$250 million of that guaranteed, the highest guaranteed money in NFL history. So he practically has nothing to worry about except leading his team to the big game.

It’s true that one of the Bills’ issues is the talent in the receiving corps. Last year, they lost Gabe Davis and Stefon Diggs in free agency. Even so, Josh Allen threw 28 touchdown passes and totaled 40 touchdowns in 2024, so that can’t be used as an excuse either.

It’s Super Bowl or failure for the Bills

Since Josh Allen entered the NFL in 2017-excluding his rookie year-he has always led the Bills to the playoffs. But in January, they haven’t been able to break through, especially because they’ve never beaten Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Mahomes is 4-0 against Allen in the playoffs.

The Bills have never won a Super Bowl and haven’t reached the big game since 1993. A long time has passed, and the only thing on Josh Allen’s mind is getting to that game-and winning it. There’s nothing else he’s thinking about.

“The only thing that I’m worried about is doing everything I can to bring a Lombardi Trophy here,” said Josh Allen.

Due to the lack of competition in the AFC East, the Bills are strong favorites to win the division title for the sixth straight year. But again, that’s not the goal-the goal is to go to Santa Clara, California, and win the Super Bowl in February 2026.
