There is no doubt that the Buffalo Bills face a major challenge in the upcoming season. Anything short of a Super Bowl appearance will be considered a failure for the organization-and especially for the current NFL MVP, Josh Allen-who has tried in various ways to lead his team to the league’s biggest game.
Josh Allen is the biggest hope Bills fans have to take the team to the Super Bowl, and the Wyoming product has tried, but he’s run into one major problem: Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen has a 0-4 playoff record against Mahomes, and that’s the major hurdle.
Now, everything is in Josh Allen’s hands. Although the Kansas City Chiefs are favorites to return to the Super Bowl from the AFC, they have many question marks-especially on offense. Allen and the Bills, while lacking big-name stars on offense, have a unit that’s in rhythm and could be deadly.

A year ago, Josh Allen lost Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis, leaving him without a top-tier receiver last season. Still, the offense averaged 30.9 points per game, the second-highest in the league, behind only the Detroit Lions. So, that wasn’t a problem for Allen.
Heading into this season, on paper, Keon Coleman-now entering his second year-is set to be Josh Allen’s primary target. However, rumors and proposals have started to surface regarding the Bills, one of which involves current San Francisco 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Jennings wants a new deal from the 49ers.
If he doesn’t get that deal, Jennings would like to be traded. The receiver is entering the final year of his two-year, $11.8 million contract with San Francisco.
However, according to Spotrac, an extension for Jennings would be in the range of two years and $20 million, which seems like a reasonable figure-but the Buffalo Bills are a team with salary cap issues, making his arrival more complicated.
Jennings is coming off a season with the 49ers in which, due to multiple injuries, he became the team’s main receiver, recording 975 yards and six touchdowns in 15 games-his only productive season in the NFL.
