Josh Allen does something special for a fan that separates him from Patrick Mahomes in resurfaced video

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are on a mission next season: proving the NFL and the world that they can win it all and finally beat their nemesis, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Allen – who’ve won the regular season MVP last year – and the Bills are tied with the Philadelphia Eagles – current champions – and the Baltimore Ravens at +700 odds to win Super Bowl LX, followed closely by the Chiefs (+800) and the Detroit Lions (10-1), according to BetMGM.

Even more than that, Buffalo wants to get rid of the image of being a great team in the regular season that falls short every single time in the playoffs. They will have a chance to prove just that, as the franchise’s preseason is due to “HBO’s Hard Knocks”.

Josh Allen does something special for a fan

Josh Allen is one of the most likable quarterbacks in the NFL, and he’s shown why by interacting with fans that want a picture with him or a brief interaction with the league’s MVP, as a resurfaced video that has gone viral online shows it.

During a 2023 Bills training camp, Allen left the field and was met by a crowd of young fans. One boy, Mason, had no interest in autographs. He had something bigger in mind. The young boy asked Allen to say something to his sister Sophia, and the quarterback didn’t hesitate.

He smiled, walked right over to her, and after a few photos and signatures, gave her a hug that brought her to tears. The heartwarming video has resurfaced and fans are calling it one of Allen’s best moments. For Sophia, it wasn’t just about meeting a star. It was about being seen, heard, and remembered by her hero.

Allen is ready for the big challenge ahead

As Josh Allen gets ready for his eighth season in blue and red and head coach Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane are gearing up for their ninth, the goals in Buffalo haven’t changed. The Bills will have 11 practices in Rochester, New York, which Allen couldn’t be happier about.

“Being away and coming here, I mean every moment you’re awake you’re around your teammates, around your friends, around the strength staff, getting worked on and there’s no better way to get better at football than here,” Allen said with a smile. “If you love football, you should love camp.”

Last year’s MVP, who registered a fifth straight season of at least 40 touchdowns, does a great job of setting the standard for the team from Day 1. Allen’s message to the team as camp kicks off is simple–It’s time to work. “Just put your head down and work,” Allen said. “It’s two and a half weeks in camp. They go quick, but you can really show who you are as a person, as a player.”
