Just weeks after secretly tying the knot with actress Hailee Steinfeld, Josh Allen is parting ways with his multimillion-dollar retreat in Dana Point, California. The ocean-view estate, once a symbol of his single life, has hit the market for $8.5 million.
The listing comes on the heels of Allen and Steinfeld’s intimate wedding in Montecito on May 31, held at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch and attended by a small circle of family, friends, and celebrities-including Curb Your Enthusiasm star Larry David and several of Allen’s Buffalo Bills teammates, plus head coach Sean McDermott.
Now, the quarterback’s real estate move hints at a newlywed strategy to consolidate and upgrade their lives-coast to coast. Allen originally bought the four-bedroom, three-bath coastal hideaway in 2023 for $7.2 million.
Nestled in a guard-gated community with access to a private beach club and neighboring world-class resorts like the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, the home was a bachelor’s dream.
The Allens’ new love nest
But post-wedding life seems to be steering the couple in a new direction. Steinfeld still owns her futuristic $8 million estate in Encino, a celeb magnet in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. She purchased the home from rock legend John Fogerty in 2021, long before her relationship with Allen went public.
The newlyweds’ most meaningful property, however, might be back where Allen’s heart truly lies-Buffalo. In 2021, the quarterback quietly bought a sprawling 31-acre plot in Orchard Park for just $500,000.
Since then, he’s built a custom megamansion just minutes from Highmark Stadium, complete with a sports court, pool, lakefront views, and a private dock.
Allen knows where he belongs
Allen, who signed a six-year, $330 million extension with the Bills, has made it clear: Buffalo is home. “I don’t want to play anywhere else,” Allen said. “This is home to me, and it’ll never not be home.”
From MVP accolades to million-dollar homes and a secret celebrity wedding, Allen’s next chapter is looking like a true power-couple play.
