NFL fans were quick to point out a change in Josh Allen when the Buffalo Bills star attended the NFL Honours with a somewhat new look.
Allen admitted that his all-black suit and tie ensemble, which fans lauded, wasn’t something he planned, but did credit fiancee Hailee Steinfeld with changing his approach to fashion.
Hailee’s keen eye for what looks good certainly paid dividends for Allen, who took to the stage to accept the 2024 NFL MVP award.
“Anytime I look good, it’s because of Hailee. I promise you,” Allen said recently about his fashion choices.
Allen’s comments show that Steinfeld’s influence in his life continues to grow. However, in a recent interview with Glamour, Steinfeld did note that Allen has his own hair and skin routines, meaning she doesn’t have to worry about changing them.
“Luckily, he’s into hair care and skin care, so he’s got his whole little deal figured out, so that’s an area I can’t help [others] in… And then also trying to get him to wear SPF, you know what I’m saying?,” she said.
Allen and Steinfeld ready for the next step
With the couple now engaged and preparing for the next step in their lives, Steinfeld also shared that Allen’s style was on point when he popped the question to her.
“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’,” she said.
No doubt the chemistry is there for the couple as they gear up for the big day. Their relationship has certainly helped Allen when it comes to his performance on the field, as his phenomenal season saw him take home his first MVP award.
