Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are seriously interested in a Cleveland Browns star

For the 2025 season, one of the teams under the most pressure-perhaps the most-is the Buffalo Bills, whose only goal is to reach the Super Bowl. Any other outcome would be considered a failure for Sean McDermott’s squad. Last season, they once again fell short in the AFC Championship.

Since Josh Allen joined the Buffalo Bills, excluding his rookie season (2018), they have always made the playoffs. However, they haven’t been able to advance past certain stages, largely because they’ve faced Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. Allen has an 0-4 record against Mahomes in January and 0-2 in AFC Championship games.

For this season, the Buffalo Bills have focused on strengthening their defense. They signed Joe Bosa, a five-time Pro Bowl defensive end, to a one-year contract. Additionally, in the first round of last year’s Draft, they selected cornerback Maxwell Hairston.

Brandon Beane might be hinting at pursuing Myles Garrett

The Buffalo Bills may be just a couple of pieces away from achieving their goal-one is clearly a top wide receiver, though acquiring one at this stage is complicated, and the other is a defensive star. Brandon Beane, the Bills’ general manager, appeared on an episode of Bussin’ With The Boys where he revealed he is interested in a player but didn’t name him.

“Yeah, um, maybe, he’s a pass rusher for another team, three hours away, and he got paid around $40 million this year,” Beane said on the podcast.

It’s easy to guess who he means: the Cleveland Browns’ superstar Myles Garrett, a future Hall of Famer. This could be a viable option, especially for the player, who-if he wants to be on a competitive team with Super Bowl aspirations-might welcome the move, since competing in big games with the Browns is unlikely.
