Josh Allen and his wife, Hailee Steinfeld are discovering their married life. And the reasons to keep smiling just keep coming.
After getting engaged on November 22, 2024 and married last month in a lavish and tender, cell phone-free wedding, the happy couple has received some big news.
Allen was enshrined as NFL MVP for the first time after his incredible year with the Buffalo Bills by surpassing 4,000 yards and 40 total touchdowns. As if this were not enough, Allen has been doubly nominated for the 2025 ESPY Award and competes in the category of Best NFL Player and Best Athlete. However, he will have to wait until July 16, when the event is scheduled to take place on ESPN.
And his wife is not far behind. Hailee received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress and will compete with four other women in the Astra Mid-Season Movie Awards.
In addition, the cast of her hit “Sinners” also received five other nominations and the film -which also starred Michael B. Jordan– is now the highest grossing original horror film domestically.
However, for Josh no achievement is as important as matching and marrying Hailee: “I mean they’ve all been big, none other than marrying my best friend, and she makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one” Allen said to reporters.
Future plans for the newlyweds
In her new installment of her newsletter called “Beau Society,” Steinfeld shared a list of activities and wishes she planned to accomplish this summer, both individually and with Allen.
Despite the fact that her husband is expected to attend boot camp starting July 23, she went ahead and created fun plans to do together to make the most of the time they have left before returning to their duties.
Enjoying a good book, disconnecting for a weekend, trying new things and dabbling in the world of cooking like making her own ice cream, and keeping on the go, are some of the activities Hailee has in mind.
No doubt, there will be no shortage of plans for the couple to share before Allen has to report to camp at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York.
