Embiid was already set to miss his 40th game of the season on Saturday when the 76ers face the Golden State Warriors. However, the team made it clear that he will not be returning at any point in the 2024-25 campaign.

Can the 76ers survive without Embiid?
Philadelphia entered the season as one of the top contenders for the NBA title, but their playoff hopes have taken a massive hit. The team is currently on a brutal nine-game losing streak and will face the Warriors in a crucial matchup.
