Jerry Jones receives another serious warning from Cowboys fans: they want Micah Parsons and won’t forgive him if he leaves

After spending several weeks in Oxnard, the Dallas Cowboys have returned to Frisco. During a practice session open to the public, owner Jerry Jones addressed the fans to thank them for their unconditional support and prepare them for what is to come. However, the fans were not very happy and had something else to say.

The demands of the fans

During Jones’ speech, a fan remembered the soap opera with the situation of Micah Parsons and shouted a cry that was heard everywhere.

“We want Micah!” was the chant, loud enough to be heard throughout the crowd and is a clear warning to management about the stalled contract negotiations with Micah Parsons.

The situation between Parsons and the Cowboys has reached a critical point. The star pass rusher, who has refused to participate in training camp, has requested a trade. Although the front office has reiterated that they will not let him go, reports suggest that negotiations are at an impasse, with no sign of progress.

Out of the club

ESPN’s Adam Schefter has added to the concern, stating that it is likely that Parsons will not finish his career in Dallas. “For the way things have gone this offseason, for the way people talk, for the way things sound, yes, I would think there’s a real chance that if he plays this season, this is potentially Micah’s last year in Dallas,” he said.

The fans’ outcry to Jerry Jones is a reflection of the growing fear among fans, who fear losing one of the league’s greatest talents and blame the front office directly for the lack of a deal. The passion of Cowboys fans is well known and they are not afraid to express their opinions, even when the team owner is in front of them.
