The Browns’ organized team activities (OTAs) have just begun, and Cleveland’s star wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has already shown support for Shedeur Sanders as the franchise’s potential starting quarterback.
While Jeudy has high hopes for his future connection with Sanders, the QB room is stacked-with Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and Dillon Gabriel. The final decision will ultimately be made by Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski.
Jeudy and Sanders’ connection
After the first day of the Browns’ much-anticipated voluntary OTAs, Jeudy-the lone bright spot in Clevelands last year’s offense with 90 receptions and 1,229 yards-took to social media and posted a series of photos on Instagram. While Shedeur didn’t appear in them, he was the star of the comment section.
A fan commented on the post, “12 to 3 gone feed families,” referring to Shedeur’s jersey number (12) and Jeudy’s (3). The comment predicted a lethal connection between the rookie QB and the Browns’ star WR, and Jeudy didn’t hesitate to like it-making his approval public.
The 26-year-old wide receiver and the rookie QB didn’t play any snaps in the Browns’ first OTA practice, but there seems to be plenty of optimism from Jeudy about Sanders taking an important role in the team’s offense this season.
Fans got hyped over Jeudy’s latest Instagram post, leaving comments like: “‘OPOY season loading,’ ‘The brother about to go for 1,500 yards this season,’ and ‘Big 3 ready to show out this year’.”
