While Anthony Joshua‘s knockout victory over Jake Paul dominated headlines, another unexpected figure drew attention during fight night in Miami. Marissa Ayers, who has been romantically linked to New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart, appeared as a ring girl during the high profile event and quickly became a talking point online.
Ayers was part of the undercard presentation at Kaseya Center, stepping into the ring for the Jahmal Harvey and Kevin Cervantes bout earlier in the evening. The fight streamed live on Netflix to a global audience.
The model and influencer was also involved in the inaugural MVP Fight House, a content focused project organized by Most Valuable Promotions, the company associated with Paul. The initiative offered behind the scenes access throughout fight week, blending boxing promotion with creator driven media.
“For the first time in boxing, an entire creator squad will be locked in under one roof in Miami as we capture every chaotic, legendary, history-making moment leading into Jake vs Joshua,” MVP announced.
“… Nonstop cameras. Wild personalities. Unfiltered access. A true fight-week content house like the sport has never seen before. We’re changing the game in real time… and yes, we fully plan on breaking the internet with this one.”
From college graduate to fight night regular
Ayers graduated from the University of Alabama in May and described herself as “beyond excited” when sharing news of her involvement with MVP on Instagram.
Her visibility has continued to grow as she expands her work within boxing events and online media.
Rumors linking Ayers to Dart began circulating after the two were reportedly seen together at a Halloween party in October. Since then, her presence around the Giants quarterback has become more noticeable.
She was seen standing alongside Dart‘s parents, Kara and Brandon, on the sideline during the team’s loss to the Patriots on Dec. 1.
Earlier this week, Ayers added fuel to the speculation by posting a photo wearing an oversized Giants T shirt, which quickly caught attention on social media.
According to her TikTok account, Ayers began working as a ring girl with MVP in May 2025. She previously appeared during the Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano card at Madison Square Garden in July, another event streamed on Netflix.
As Ayers‘ public profile continues to rise, her appearance on a night that ended with Joshua knocking out Paul only amplified the spotlight surrounding her.
