Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo will deliver a Super Bowl to the New York Giants, according to a former NFL Quarterback

It seems that after many years, the New York Giants are finally moving in the right direction – thanks to two rookies who have completely changed the team’s outlook under head coach Brian Daboll. Rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, selected in the first round, and running back Cam Skattebo, taken in the fourth, have reignited hope among fans who have endured years of frustration.

In last week’s Thursday Night Football, the Giants defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 34-17. The night belonged to the two rookies: Jaxson Dart threw a touchdown pass and ran for another, while Cam Skattebo scored three touchdowns and rushed for 98 yards, falling just short of his first 100-yard game.

Right now, the Giants are still alive in the playoff race, though they remain at the bottom of the NFC East. The road ahead won’t be easy – their next three games are against the Denver Broncos, another matchup with the Eagles, and a tough test versus the San Francisco 49ers. There’s still a long way to go, but the team appears ready to fight.

Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo could bring the Giants a Super Bowl

The Giants last won a Super Bowl in 2012, their fourth in franchise history and second in the Eli Manning era, when they defeated the New England Patriots in Indianapolis – the second straight time they beat Tom Brady and company on the NFL’s biggest stage. Since then, the franchise has been through tough years.

They’ve only made the playoffs twice since that Super Bowl – in 2016 with Eli Manning and again in 2022 with Daniel Jones. Both were brief appearances followed by several disappointing seasons.

Now, with Jaxson Dart’s performances in his three starts – and his infectious energy – it seems the former Ole Miss star might have what it takes to lead the Giants back to glory. On his podcast Outta Pocket, Robert Griffin III said that Dart and Skattebo will deliver a Super Bowl to the Giants sooner than people think.

So far this season, Jaxson Dart has thrown for 508 yards, with four passing touchdowns, two rushing scores, and two interceptions. A new energy is clearly flowing through the franchise. His next big challenge comes in Week 7, when the Giants face a strong AFC contender – the Denver Broncos.
