Jason and Kylie Kelce have formed a family ruled by women alongside their four princesses: five-year-old Wyatt, four-year-old Elliotte, two-year-old Bennett, and three-month-old newborn Finnley Anne.
However, Finn wasn’t the only new addition to the family recently. Taylor Swift, girlfriend of her uncle and Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, has been dating since the summer of 2023, and their love story has been making headlines ever since.
Despite this, Kylie and Taylor have become very close, and on her podcast “Not Gonna Lie,” she made it clear that she is another Swiftie.
Ed Sheeran, singer and friend of the 14-time Grammy winner, appeared on Ky’s podcast, and, of course, Taylor’s name came up in the conversation.
The mother of four girls asked Sheeran about the moment he received the most applause in his career, and he revealed that it was during his concert in Detroit in 2023, when rapper Eminem appeared on stage.
Ed also mentioned his “River” collaborator again when asked about a “cheat code.”
However, continuing the conversation about which artist would be the equivalent of Eminem in Philadelphia, the former field hockey coach responded quickly and without hesitation: “Taylor,” assuring that “it’s home” for the 35-year-old singer born in West Reading, Pennsylvania.
In response to Ky’s answer, Sheeran assured her that she would be a “cheat code” “anywhere,” and the host couldn’t agree more: “True. Very true,” she said.
Taylor interfered with Ed’s team, but it wasn’t Kansas City
In the episode, Sheeran explained that he chose his NFL team to follow after he moved to “Nashville for Taylor’s Red Tour in 2013 and I got a place there.”
“I’m a Titans fan,” Sheeran revealed. “I went to Walmart to buy bits to move in and I just bought some pajamas. And then when I got home, I was wearing the pajamas. And when someone was around, they were like, ‘Oh, you’re a Titans fan?’ I was like, ‘Guess I am.’“
In addition, months ago, on the podcast “Call Her Daddy,” Ed stated that he meets with her “four times a year.” Furthermore, the artist confirmed that they also have “proper sit-down, six-hour catch-ups.”
Without a doubt, this is a friendship that transcends music.
