Jason Kelce made a name for himself during his 13 seasons playing center in the NFL and for the Philadelphia Eagles.
However, he is also known for his eccentric and energetic personality and has even starred in viral moments involving stripping. Despite this, he will have to be careful at the wedding of his younger brother, Travis, to his fiancée, singer Taylor Swift.
Jason could have problems with Kylie
Ky and Jason began their romance in 2015 after meeting on Tinder, got engaged in the summer of 2017, and finally married in April 2018.
A year later, the first of their four daughters, Wyatt, now six, was born. Then came Elliotte, now four, Bennett, now two, and most recently, they welcomed Finnley Anne, now eight months old.
After nearly a decade together, Kylie has shared thousands of moments with her husband, and she knows what he is capable, including the jokes and shirtless celebrations Jason has starred in.
In fact, his future sister-in-law and Travis Kelce’s fiancée, Taylor Swift, knows this too. The first time he met her was at a game against the Bills, Jason recalls. He warned his wife that he would take off his shirt and celebrate, but she asked him not to.
“Kylie was ‘already telling me to be on my best behavior because we were meeting Taylor’ and remembered telling her, ‘Kylie, when I met you, the first day I met you, I was black-out drunk and fell asleep at the bar. This is part of the Jason Kelce charm’,” he admitted in a 2024 episode of New Heights.
However, it seems that this time there could be one of those iconic Jason celebrations, but at his brother’s wedding. In a December 22 interview with the Wall Street Journal, the 38-year-old former center revealed: “I’ve evolved quite greatly since getting married myself. Early on, I went to a wedding with just a Target graphic T-shirt. I’ve taken my shirts off at weddings,” he says.
However, Jason might make an exception for his wife and brother: “Listen, the first time I met Taylor was at a Buffalo Bills game. I jumped out of a suite. She invites us back to things now! We’ll see if the shirt stays on or off,” he said, but quickly thought about his wife’s reaction: “I think if my shirt comes off, Kylie will be very upset about that.”
As for the wedding, the couple already has a date: they will marry on June 13 next year in a luxurious and eagerly awaited ceremony in Rhode Island, and preparations are underway. Will Jason keep his shirt on?
