Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has turned Christmas into a season of joy for thousands of children in Philadelphia. The NFL star spearheaded the annual “Operation Snowball,” ensuring every child in the Philadelphia Public Schools system received a gift this holiday season.
Kelce and his former Eagles teammates Jordan Mailata and Lane Johnson-collectively known as the “Philly Specials”-raised funds through sales of their festive Christmas album. Their effort culminated in a massive delivery operation, complete with a nine-vehicle caravan and police escort, to distribute gifts across the city.
In a social media post, Kelce shared his gratitude, writing:
“Thanks to all of you who bought the record and supported Operation Snowball, we were able to get A GIFT TO EVERY STUDENT IN THE PHILLY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM. This video shows how it was all possible and captures some happy faces along the way. Hope you all had a Merry Christmas.”

The Kelce Brothers share holiday laughs
Meanwhile, Jason Kelce and his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, brought their own holiday magic to fans in a festive episode of their podcast, New Heights. Jason’s wife, Kylie, joined the duo as they fielded voicemails from listeners seeking advice on holiday dilemmas.
One listener asked how to gently tell a loved one they weren’t a great gift-giver. Jason shared a relatable anecdote, revealing that he and Travis used to gift their mother, Donna Kelce, the same present every Christmas until she suggested switching it up.
“She said, ‘You guys don’t have to get me the same thing every Christmas,'” Jason recalled. Kylie humorously revealed their go-to gifts: “Earrings and candles.”

While Jason and Travis kept their updated gift choices under wraps, Donna Kelce is reportedly thrilled with the thoughtful changes.
From spreading cheer to Philly schoolchildren to sharing family traditions, Jason Kelce embodies the holiday spirit in every way possible.
